  • PROSPECT CONSISTS OF A TUNNEL ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF A SMALL TRANSECTING HOLLOW, AND A SERIES OF SHAFTS EXTENDING UP THE NOSE OF THE RIDGE TOWARD THE SOUTHWEST. IN 1941, ALL THE SHAFTS AND THE TUNNEL, WHICH MAY HAVE CONNECTED WITH THEM, HAD CAVED IN. IN 1982, ONE CAVED TUNNEL, 12 CAVED SHAFTS AND PITS, AND DUMPS WERE SEEN. NO ORE WAS SEEN.

Deposit ONLY A LITTLE ORE IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN FOUND IN THE OPENINGS. THE CHERT ON THE DUMPS CONTAINS SOME PSILOMELANE.
