General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit ORE OCCURS IN PEBBLY BEDS OF FRIABLE, FRACTURED SANDSTONE AS THIN VEINS AND POCKETS. ABOUT 2 TONS OF MANGANESE ORE WAS OBTAINED AND PLACED ON THE DUMPS. THE ORE CONTAINED MUCH SILICA IN THE FORM OF SAND GRAINS AND QUARTZ PEBBLES. A LEDGE OF IRON ORE IS EXPOSED ON THE RIDGE SLOPE JUST SOUTH OF THE PROSPECT. MANGANESE ORE IS STILL VISIBLE ON THE DUMPS AND IN SANDSTONE IN THE SHAFT WALLS.
