  • STOSE AND MISER (1922) REPORTED THE SHAFT HAD BEEN RECENTLY SUNK AT THE TIME OF THEIR VISIT IN 1920.

Deposit SHAFT PENETRATED BEDS OF PEBBLY SANDSTONE AND SAND. SANDY MANGANESE ORE IN A VEIN AS MUCH AS 3.8 CM (1.5 IN) THICK WAS FOUND NEAR THE SURFACE BUT THE QUANTITY IS FAR TOO SMALL TO BE OF COMMERCIAL IMPORTANCE.
