  • WORKINGS CONSISTED OF SEVERAL TUNNELS, SHAFTS, PITS AND DUMPS. THERE WAS IRON ORE ON THE DUMPS. LARGEST TUNNEL, STILL PARTIALLY OPEN, WAS PROBABLY OVER 30 M (100 FT) LONG JUDGING FROM THE SIZE OF THE DUMP.

  • PROBABLY WORKED IN THE MID-1800'S FOR VAN BUREN FURNACE.
