  • MUSCOVITE EITHER SLIGHT WINE COLOR OR YELLOWISH-GREEN COLOR. MOST MICA BOOKS SMALL ALTHOUGH SLOAN (1908) REPORTED TEN INCH SQUARE SHEETS CHIEF DEFECTS ARE CLAY STAINING, RULING AND QUARTZ INTERGROWTHS. SOME OF BOOKS ARE SPECKED, BUT MOST ARE CLEAR AND FREE SPLITTING.
