  • AN OPEN CUT, NOW TREE- AND SHRUB-FILLED, ON THE PROPERTY OF EMMA BAILEY IS FROM FOUR TO SIX FEET WIDE AND 320 FEET LONG. THE SHAFT ON IRA HUDSON'S PROPERTY IS ABOUT 8 FEET WIDE, 77 FEET LONG, AND 158 FEET DEEP. A 36 FEET DEEP SHAFT WAS SUNK ON THE PROPERTY OF CLEVELAND TACKETT, AND A 100 FEET LONG OPEN CUT IS FOUND ON BEN HOCKENSMITH'S LAND.

  • DEVELOPED BY MEANS OF TWO OPEN CUTS AND TWO SHAFTS. THE MINE IS NOW ABANDONED.
