Deposit "A 107 ft. shaft was sunk on the north side of Horseshoe Creek, in the east-central part of sec. 21, T28N, R71W. "Rusty schist" at the surface gave way to a heavy, shallow body of pyrrhotite. A northeast trending graphite-pyrrhotite schist 1 ft. to 2 ft. thick underlies the pyrrhotite mass with a little chalcopyrite. Hornblende and quartz were mixed with pyrrhotite. Traces of sphalerite also reported." (Bull. 50, p. 39).
