Deposit HEMATITIC SCHISTS AND QUARTZITES INTERLAYERED WITH DOLOMITE. APPA RENTLY IN CONTACT WITH GRANITE ON THE WEST AND DOLOMITE SEQUENCE TO TH E EAST. SOUTHERN EXPOSURES ARE PRIMARILY JASPEROIDAL QUARTZITES OF LOW FE CONTENT INTERLAYERED WITH DOLOMITE. NORTHERN EXPOSURES INCLUDE SOM E RED AND BLACK BANDED, PARTIALLY JASPEROIDAL QUARTZITES AND HEMATITIC SCHIST.
