Deposit HEMATITE IS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT PEGMATITE DIKES IN GRANITE. LOCALLY THERE IS A CENTRAL SEAM 1-2 FT WIDE OF PURE HARD BLUE HEMATITE. WHERE THE PEGMATITE CUTS THROUGH SYENITE THE ROCK IS IMPREGNATED FOR 100 FT FROM THE DIKE.
