Deposit 4 BEDS FROM 1.6 TO 2.4 FEET THICK
General Wilson and Heran attempted to visit this "deposit". Found an old road to the ridge and saddle but no sign of a deposit or any workings.
Deposit "Phosphatic shales strike N11W and dip 16W; the lower phosphate bed is 16 ft above the base and is 2 1/2 ft to 3 ft thick with 48.86% B.P.I. The upper bed, 1 ft thick, is 24 ft above the base and contiais 68.4% B.P.I." (Bull. 50, p. 148-149)
