  • ST. JOE MBL & BOONE CHERT OUTCROP ABOVE, TOWARD TOPS OF HILLS. CARBONATE WAS DEPOSITED IN SMALL CRACKS IN THE ROCKS WHICH LATER DISSOLVED OUT, LEAVING A VERY OPEN TEXTURED CARBONATE ORE. SOME THIN LAYERS OF QUARTZ CRYSTALS ARE EVIDENTLY FROM THE SAME DEPOSITION AND LATER EXPOSURE

  • LIKELY THAT A SMALL AMOUNT OF ZINC ORE FROM THIS SITE WENT INTO A ZINC ORE SHIPMENT AT SOME POINT.
