  • DIMENSIONS OF THE MINE WERE OBTAINED FROM SKETCHES AND WRITTEN DESCRIPTIONS; THE ACCURACY IS SOMEWHAT IN DOUBT. AN ADIT AND SHAFT OPENING ARE STILL VISIBLE AT THE SURFACE

  • HENRY FOX BOUGHT THE MINE AT AUCTION IN 1887 AND WORKED IT FOR 30 YEARS TO 1917. NO RECORD OF GOLD PRODUCED DURING THESE YEARS EXISTS.
