  • WORKINGS WERE LOCATED RIGHT ON THE MARGIN OF LAKE CHAMPLAIN WHERE GOOD EXPOSURE WAS FOUND.

  • SOME OF THE STONE WAS USED IN BUILDINGS AT MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE. THE IRON WORKS AT PORT HENRY USED THE STONE AS A FLUX.
