  • THE REMAINS OF A KILN HEARTH WITH GRATES CAN BE SEEN JUST NORTH OF THE QUARRIED AREA. MARBLE LENSES 2.1 AND 2.8 (DENNIS, 1964, PLATE 1) WERE ALSO WORKED FAR LIME AT ONE TIME. THESE SITES WERE NOT VISITED.

  • SEVERAL HOUSES BUILT WITH LIME PRODUCTS IN THE AREA DATE TO THE EARLY 1800'S. THE LIME ALLEGEDLY CAME FROM THIS SITE (JOYAL, 1985).
