  • STELLA MINES INCLUDED TWO SHAFTS ON PARALLEL DEPOSITS, 1600 FT APART. THE STELLA SHAFT WAS WORKED 900 FT DOWN THE DIP OF 20 DEGREES TO 30 DEGREES, THE ANNA SHAFT WAS WORKED 250 FT DOWN A 45 DEGREES DIP, MICA SCHIST HANGING WALL WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO PERMIT STOPES 60 TO 80 FT WIDE.
