  • QUARRY OPENED AFTER FINDING AN EXPOSURE OF THE CEMENT ROCK WAS FOUND IN CREEK BED. IN 1934 BLASTING OPENED A VERY LARGE FLOW (4000 GPM) OF WATER INTO QUARRY CAUSING IT TO EVENTUALLY SHUT DOWN OPERATION
