  • A TUNNEL 100 FEET LONG RAN INTO THE SIDE OF THE HILL CUTTING THE STRATA TO THE VEIN. IT THEN EXTENDED DOWNWARD 130 FT TO A 6 FOOT WIDE VEIN. TO THE SOUTH OF TUNNEL, HIGHER ON THE HILL, ORE WAS MINED BY SEVERAL OPEN CUTS. TUNNEL AND NUMEROUS PITS ARE STILL VISIBLE (1985)
