  • NO RECORD OF PROSPECT IS IN THE LITERATURE. OSCO WARD (PERSONAL COMMUNICATION, 1985) STATED HIS FATHER FIELDEN WARD, HAD PROSPECTED FOR BARITE THERE IN THE LATE 1930'S AND EARLY 1940'S. THE PROSPECT TRENCH IS APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET LONG, 10 FEET WIDE, AND 3 FEET DEEP, TRENDING N 80E. MINOR DUMP MATERIAL OF BEDDED BARITE WITH THIN MICA SCHIST.
