Comments on the geologic information

  • KONA SEDIMENTS WERE DEPOSITED IN A STABLE SHELF, LAGOONAL ENVIRONMENT. SULFIDES, MAINLY CHALCOCITE, CHALCOPYRITE, BORNITE, AND PYRITE ,ARE FOUND DISSEMINATED WITHIN THREE BEDS WITH A TOTAL THICKNESS OF 17 M. THE BEDS ARE APPROXIMATELY 60 M ABOVE THE BASE OF THE FORMATION.

Comments on the reserve resource information

  • 'HIGHLY SPECULATIVE RESOURCES' -- THE TONNAGE REPORTED WAS DERIVED BY PLANIMETRIC ANALYSIS OF MAPS OF THE MINERALIZED ZONES.

Comments on development

  • THE KONA DOLOMITE HAS BEEN VIGOROUSLY EXPLORED. THE LOW GRADE AND POOR GRINDABILITY HAS MADE IT SOMEWHAT LESS ATTRACTIVE AT LOW COPPER PRICES AND MARKETABILITY. T
