MIDDLE PRECAMBRIAN 'X' (OR MARQUETTE RANGE SUPERGROUP) ROCKS AS SEMI-CONSOLIDATED SEDIMENTS SLUMPED INTO THE TROUGHS. AT ABOUT THE SAME TIME ENTIRE AREA WAS REGIONALLY THERMALLY METAMORPHOSED, CREATING METAMORPHIC FACIES OR NODES.
