  • MINING OCCURRED AT THE TOP OF THE KEARSARGE AMYGDALOID. THE AMYGDALOID TOP OF THE KEARSARGE FLOW HAS BEEN MINED TO VERTICAL DEPTHS OF 3,000 TO 4,000 FEET FOR 2 MILES ALONG STRIKE IN THE MOHAWK QUADRANGLE.

  • ECON.COM: SENECA MINING CO. WAS ORGANIZED MAR 1860, DISSOLVED 10 OCT 1918, AND ALL OF ITS STOCK WAS CONVEYED TO SENECA COPPER CORP. WHICH WAS INCORPORATED IN 1916. THE MINE CLOSED IN 1924. SENECA COPPER MINING CO. WAS INCORPORATED 27 FEB 1925, AND WORK RESUMED IN NOV 1925.
