  • SOUTH PEWABIC WAS ORGANIZED IN 1865, BUT ITS CAPITAL WAS EXHAUSTED AND THE PROPERTY WAS SOLD TO ATLANTIC. ; ECON.COM: THE MINE CLOSED IN MAY 1906 BY CAVING AND AIR BLASTS SUBSEQUENT PRODUCTION IS ESTIMATED AND PROBABLY FROM STOCKS.
