  • BETWEEN 1874 AND OCT. 1875; ABOUT 1,500 TONS OF ORE AVERAGING 15% CU WAS SHIPPED. THE MINE WAS SHUT DOWN IN 1879. IT WAS REOPENED IN 1896 AND THE SHAFT WAS DEEPENED, BUT NO MINING TOOK PLACE. THE MINE CLOSED IN 1899.
