Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE PRIMARY ORE IS GOLD TYPICALLY ASSOCIATED WITH PYRITE WITHIN QUARTZ VEINS. THE GRADE OF ORE IS HIGHER WITH THE MAJOR QUARTZ VEINS (9-25 G AU/MT) THAN IN THE STOCKWORK (0.8-3 G AU/MT). A SMALL AMOUNT OF ORE HAS BEEN MINED FROM E-W ALLUVIAL CHANNELS, 5-40 M WIDE AND 8 M THICK. GOLD IS ALSO FOUND IN THE TERTIARY LATERITIC WEATHERING PROFILE ABOVE THE ADAMELLITE.
