| Deposit | THE DEPOSIT LIES BETWEEN 2 ANTICLINES AND IS OF VARIABLE THICKNESS. AT THE BASE IS HALITE SEVERAL HUNDRED M THICK OVERLAIN BY A 25 M THICK SYLVANITE ZONE. THE SYLVANITE ZONE IS IN TURN OVERLAIN BY A 50 M THICK CARNALLITE ZONE. ONLY THE SYLVANITE IS CURRENTLY WORKED-- FROM 2 BEDS, A & B, SEPARATED BY SALT AND CLAY. THE SYLVANITE CONTAINS 15-17% K2O. |
