  • THE WORK ON THIS PROPERTY HAS PROVEN THAT THERE ARE GOOD VALUES IN THE ORE IN CERTAIN SECTIONS, BUT DUE TO THE NARROW WIDTH OF THE VEIN THE AMOUNT OF ORE IS SMALL (PUERTO RICO BUREAU OF MINES, 1941, P. 13).

Deposit ORE IS FOUND IN NARROW VEINS OR STRINGERS WITH A QUARTZ GANGUE, ALTHOUGH CONSIDERABLE CLAYEY MATERIALS AND MANGANESE OXIDES ARE PRESENT, ESPECIALLY IN THE LOWER-GRADE PARTS. THE ORE IS HIGHLY OXIDIZED, ALTHOUGH UNALTERED SULFIDES HAVE BEEN FOUND IN CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE PROPERTY.
