  • IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT THE FRACTURING AND GRABEN FORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH MANY OF THE SULFUR DEPOSITS ARE DUE TO HALITE DISSOLUTION. OIL HAS BEEN NOTED TO OCCUR WITH THE SULFUR DEPOSITS.
