Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • REPORTED APPROXIMATELY 3% SODIUM NITRATE PLUS POTASSIUM NITRATE. NOTED THAT THE OCCURRENCES ARE TYPICAL CAVE-TYPE ACCUMULATIONS ALONG CRACKS AND SHELTERED WALLS IN THE BUCKSHOT IGNIMBRITE AND THAT SOME NITRATE OCCURS IN THE SPHERICAL CAVITIES TYPICAL OF THE FORMATION. NOTED OTHER NITRATE LOCALITIES IN THE VICINITY.
