General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit AMSBURY (1958) REPORTED THAT MINERALIZATION IS CONCENTRATED IN 1-FT (0.3-M)-THICK CLAY GOUGE ALONG A SMALL FAULT THAT TRENDS N80E AND DIPS 50S. HENRY AND OTHERS (1980) REPORTED URANIUM MINERALIZATION AT LEAST 200 FT (60 M) DEEP ALONG FRACTURES, BUT NOTED THAT GRADE PROBABLY DECREASES WITH DEPTH. HENRY AND OTHERS (1980) SUGGESTED AN ORIGIN INVOLVING RELEASE OF URANIUM FROM THE ALLEN INTRUSIONS OR THE SHELY GROUP, TRANSPORTATION IN GROUND WATER, AND ADSORPTION BY FE-MN OXYHYDROXIDES.
