DIPS 20 - 60 E, MAINLY 25 - 30 E. 3 LENTICULAR AREAS, WHERE QTZ IS SEVERAL TIMES AVE, OCCUR IN REGIONS OF FLAT DIP WHERE STRIKE CHANGES, & CONTAIN HORSES OF COUNTRY ROCK. BANDED VUGGY QTZ ENDS CONTAINS COARSE QTZ XTLS BELOW 1000 FT LEVEL. N & S OF PRODUCTIVE PART OF VEIN, IT SPLITS INTO SMALL STRINGERS. THERE ARE SEVERAL BRANCHES W ONLY A LITTLE QTZ AT SOME INTERSECTIONS. DRAG IN META CONGL INDICATES REVERSE MOVEMENT. OPHIR VEIN JOINS 16 - 1 S OF 16 - 1 SHAFT.

Deposit IN 1992 THE OPERATORS BEGAN USING METAL DETECTORS AS AN UNDERGROUND GOLD LOCATION TOOL. AFTER 6 MONTHS OF EXPERIMENTATION, MORE THAN $1 MILLION WORTH OF GOLD HAD BEEN DETECTED AND RECOVERED. IN A 12 DAY PERIOD MINERS REPORTEDLY HAD DETECTED AND RECOVERED 12 KILOGRAMS OF GOLD. PREVIOUS TO THIS METHOD THE MINE WAS HAVING FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
