Comments on the commodity information

  • LG NUMBER OF SMALL BUNCHES OF HIGH GRADE ORE. HIGH GRADE SHOOTS GENERALLY VERT & END AGAINST PROMINENT SHEETING ZONES WHICH GENERALLY DIPS LESS THAN 10 N, AND IS ASSOC W. COARSE-GRAINED ARSENOPYRITE, AND IS MORE LIKELY TO BE HIGH GRADE WHERE IT APPROACHES SERPENTINE.

Comments on the geologic information

  • VEIN IN BLACK SLATE, CUT BY DIKES OF GABBRO & SERPENTINE POST MINERAL VERT FAULT W 25-30 FT OFFSET, TO N. FURTHER S IT MAY COMPLETELY CUT OFF THE VEIN. SLATE IS MAINLY FISSILE, FINE-GRAINED. VEIN LENSES OF QUARTZITE. CLOSE TO VEIN A MASSIVE GREEN ROCK, TUFF? OR FINE GRAINED GABBROIC DIKE? THE SERPENTINE MASS CROSSING ENTIRE DISTRICT IS HERE 100-200 FT E, & SMALL DIKES FROM IT EXTEND NEARLY TO VEIN. LARGEST GABBROIC DIKE CROSSES SLATE & SERPENTINE & GRADES IN SHORT DISTANCE FROM OLIVINE GABBRO TO DIORITE W PORPHYRITIC PHASE CONTAINING ORTHOCLASE. 3 OUT CROPS OF ACIDIC INTRUSIVES: APLITE DIKE 4 TO 8 FT THICK; PYRITIZED GRANITE OF MAINLY QTZ & ORTO CLASE. VEIN CUTS SLATE AT SMALL ANGLE & IS TRACABLE 1000 FT NEARLY TO LAUA CONTACT. QTZ FLOAT INDICATES N EXTENSION FOR ABOUT 1200 FT OF VEIN. VEIN CHANGES TO ZONE OF QTZ STRINGERS & SILICIFIED SLATE 100 FT THICK. EARLY MOVEMENT REVERSED, GROOVING PITCHES A FEW DEGREES S OF DIP. RIBBON STRUCTURE DUE TO SUCCESSIVE FISSURING. LATER QTZ VEINING
  • CROSSES EARLIER STRUCTURE. LESS ALTERED THAN BRUSH CREEK MINE.
