COUNTRY ROCK INCLUDES BESIDES USUAL AMPHIBOLITE SCHIST, ALSO BAND OF DARK QTZ-CHLORITE SCHIST & HORNBLENDE-MICA SCHIST THE MORE MASSIVE PHASES FOUND TO S ARE LACKING HERE. SCHIST CONTAINS SML QTZ STRINGERS PARALLEL TO SCHISTOSITY. 2 ORE SHOOTS: 1 WHERE VEIN SPLITS IN 25 FT HORSE, & REUNITES AGAIN; 2ND, IS S PART OF CAVED ADIT. IN 1ST THERE ARE SHARP MINOR STRIKE & DIP CHGS. & NUMEROUS QTZ STRINGERS & MINOR GOUGE IN WALLS. CEDAR VEIN STRIKES NNW, DIPS W, IS THE W EXTENSION OF EASTERN STAR VEIN, & IS FAULTED BY W DIPPING VEIN PARALLEL TO RISING SUN, 900 FT E, WHICH MAY BE SAME IS SML DISPLACEMENT AT FACE OF ADIT. SERPENTINE & GABBRO DIKES NEARBY DONT OUTCROP IN VICINITY OF VEINS.
