Deposit THE FLAT SHALE BED CONTAINING THE NODULES OF PYROLUSITE AND WAD COVERED THE TOP OF A LOW, ELLIPTICAL SHAPED KNOLL. THE ORE WAS THICKEST ON THE NORTH END AND THINNED ON THE SOUTH END
