  • THREE NORTHEAST TRENDING DRIFTS DEVELOPED OFF OF S 70 E TREDING MAIN TUNNEL. FIRST DRIFT IS AT 200 FEET FROM PORTAL, IT TRENDS NE FOR 1700 FT WHERE IT PENETRATES THE MARK ANTONY FAULT (TRENDS N 45 W, DIPS 70-75 NE), IT THEN TURNS SE FOR 250 FT. WHERE IT PENETRATES A SECOND FAULT, IT THEN TURNS SOUTHWARD WHERE IT FOLLOWS THE MARK ANTONY FAULT FOR 400 FT., TWO SIDE DRIFTS ARE CUT FROM IT. THE SECOND MAJOR DRIFT IS AT 550 FT. FROM THE PORTAL, IT TRENDS N 50 E, IT IS ABOUT 450 FT LONG AND INTERSECTS TWO VERTICAL FISSURES IN THE "GARBER LIMESTONE", BOTH FISSURES ARE EXPLORED BY RAISES AND WINZES. THE THIRD MAJOR DRIFT IS 720 FT. FROM THE PORTAL AND IS FAIRLY SHORT.
