| Deposit | THE ORE OUTCROPPED IN TWO PLACES. THREE LARGE BODIES AND SEVERAL SMALLER ONES WERE FOUND ABOUT 20 FEET BELOW THE SURFACE. THE ORE IS A SOFT YELLOW SILICEOUS CHLORIDE, AND IS HIGHLY OXIDIZED. |
| Deposit | THE DEPOSIT IS CONFINED TO THE LOWER PART OF THE 'GREAT BLUE' LIMESTONE, WHERE IT DIPS GENTLY WESTWARD ON THE WESTERN FLANK OF OPHIR ANTICLINE. A FAULT TRENDING N45W WAS OBSERED AT THE MINE SITE, AND CONSIDERABLE WORK HAD BEEN DONE ALONG THE CONTACT OF A LAMPROPHYRE DIKE TRENDING DUE NORTH. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
