  • LONGFELLOW LIMESTONES ARE EXTENSIVELY EXPOSED IN THIS REGION. MORENCI PORPHYRY IS NOT MUCH ALTERRED BUT IS GREATLY DISINTEGRATED. PRINCIPAL REGIONAL PORPHYRITIC INTRUSIONS PARALLEL PLANES OF SEDIMENTATION WHICH DIP 10-30 SW. REGIONAL FAULTING PRIOR TO INTRUSION AND MINERALIZATION.
