| Deposit | GOLD OCCURRED AS NUGGETS AND AS WIRE-GOLD WITHIN THE QUARTZ, THE GOLD OFTEN HOLDING THE FRACTURED QUARTZ TOGETHER. ALSO GOLD OCCURRED AS SMALL GRAINS WITHIN THE STREAM DOWNHILL. A FAULT IS REPORTED TO MARK THE SOUTHWEST END OF THE DEPOSIT. ABUNDANT QUARTZ ROCK AND A LARGE DUMP PILE ARE SCATTERED AROUND THE LARGEST TRENCH. THE QUARTZ VEIN THICKENED AND THINNED WITHIN SHORT DISTANCES, AVERAGING ABOUT 0.5 M (1.5 FT) IN THICKNESS. |
