Deposit ACCORDING TO SEARS (1919), THERE ARE BOULDERS SCATTERED ABOUT, THE HOST ROCK IS STAINED, AND THERE IS A LAYER OF ORE ABOUT 60 CM THICK, VERTICAL, AND EXPOSED IN ONE OF THE TWO SMALL CUTS ON THE S SLOPE. ROBERTS (1944) STATES THAT THE SILICEOUS MN OXIDE ZONE IS 1 M WIDE, STRIKES N 40 W, AND HAS A VERTICAL DIP.
