  • J.P. JENNINGS, LESSEE, FUNDED A GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY ON THE PROPERTY, THE GEOLOGIST USING A HOTCHKISS SUPER DIP MAGNETOMETER. THE SURVEY SHOWED DISTINCT ANOMALIES NEAR THE INFERRED MARBLE-SCHIST CONTACTS AT TOP OF ROCK, AND THE INFERRED POSITION OF THE SILICIFIED WHITE MARBLE ZONE. VAN HORN (1948) STATES THAT THE GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED BY DIAMOND DRILLING, AND THAT THE SURVEY RESULTS ARE CONSEQUENTLY NEITHER CONFIRMED NOR DENIED.
