  • GEOL.DESC: PROPERTY LARGELY IN AREA OF HORNBLENDE-QUARTZ-DIORITE; FEW VEINS OBSERVED. MUCH PLACER MINING IN THE PAST IS EVIDENT ON NE PORTION OF THE PROPERTY. MOST OF THIS WORK WAS DONE IN RECENT GRAVELS WHICH ARE REGARDED AS REWORKED PORTIONS OF OLD TERTIARY GRAVELS.

  • SHALLOW SHAFT SUNK ON A PEGMATITIC DIKE WHICH IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE GRANITE ON THE E PORTION OF THE PROPERTY. THIS SEEMS UNFAVORABLE FOR GOLD.
