Deposit MULTIPLE FLAT GOLD-COPPER BEARING QUARTZ VEINS HAVE BEEN MINED OVER 1-3 M WIDTH IN AN AREA 2 BY 1 KM. HOST ROCKS ARE SCHISTS DERIVED FROM LIMESTONE, SHALE, AND SANDSTONE. VEINS CONTROLLED BY SERIES OF CLOSELY SPACED THRUST FAULTS THAT CARRY LATER STAGE SIDERITE-SPECULARITE MINERALIZATION.
Deposit AREA DESCRIBED AS A "CORE COMPLEX" BY JAIME ROLDAN. DEPOSIT OCCURS AT THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF METAMORPHIC BELT. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB
