Comments on the geologic information

  • PREDOMINANTLY SEDIMENTARY ROCKS OF MIOGEOSYNCLINAL TYPE. ASSOCIATED GRANITIC INTRUSIVE. OVER 15 PLUTONIC INTRUSIVE BODIES EXPOSED 25-40 KM E OF OCAMPO. THESE INTRUSIVES MAY BE THE HEART OF AN INTRUSIVAL FOR THE CENTER AND THUS BE THE MAIN REASON FOR THE ABUNDANCE OF MINERAL DEPOSITS. IN THIS AREA WE ALSO SEE DEEPER EROSIONAL LEVELS. THE SURROUNDING WESTERN CHIHUAHUA IS COVERED BY YOUNGER TERTIARY VOLCANICS.
