Comments on the reserve resource information

  • 150,000 - 200,000 TONS ON TOTAL RESERVES VARYING FROM 3,150,000 TO 4,200,000 TONS, BUT IN AN ADDITIONAL TABLE GAVE FOR THE DISTRICT "PROBABLE" RESERVES OF 12 MILLION TONS AND POSSIBLE RESERVES AS 20 MILLION TONS, PRODUCING A TOTAL OF 32 MILLION. BECAUSE OF CONFLECTING INFORMATION ALVARADO USED 4 MILLION TONS OF INDICATED RESERVES AND 28 MILLION OF INFERED RESERVES OR A TOTAL OF 32 MILLION BUT CLASSIFIED THEM AS POTENTIAL ONE (AS SHOWN IN THESE TABLES) BECAUSE OF LACK OF SPECIFIC PLANS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS DEPOSIT.

Comments on the workings information

  • HUACRAVILCO HILL CONTAINS MAGNETITE CONCENTRATIONS OF APPROXIMATELY TABULAR FORM, IN ZONES ALONG THE CONTACT BETWEEN AN INTRUSIVE AND THE ADJACENT TRIASSIC LIMESTONE. THE MAGNETITE BODIES GENERALLY CONTAIN A NUMBER OF IMPURITIES, MAINLY SILICATES
