SUBSEQUENT PROD-UCTION FIGURES WILL BE FOR YEAR JULY 1 TO JUNE 30.

  • EXPAN$: 15.5 ; ECON.COM: THE MONARCH EAST SHAFT IS BEING DEEPENED AT AN ESTIMATED COST OF R15.5 MILLION. THE PROJECT WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TO 1988 WITH THE BULK OF EXPENDITURE BEING INCURRED IN 1986. R1 MILLION WILL BE SPENT ON AUGMENTING THE COMPANY'S LOW ALKALINITY PRESSURE CYANIDATION PLANT TO ENABLE IT TO COMMENCE RECOVERY OF GOLD FROM THE ARSENICAL MIDDLINGS DUMP.
