  • MESOZOIC AND QUATERNARY BAUXITES IN IRREGULAR BEDS AND POCKETS, SOME OF WHICH HAVE AS MUCH AS 55% AL2O3, WITH LESS THAN 8% SIO2. KARST BAUXITES MAY HAVE ORIGINATED FROM THE CARBONATE ROCKS AND THE TERRA ROSA WHICH IS SUPERIMPOSED ON THEM.
