Subject category Comment text
Deposit MAIN DEPOSIT OCCURS IN A NORTHWEST TRENDING FLUORITE-JASPEROID BODY. DEPOSIT IS ON SW FLANK OF FLAT TOP MTN., A SE-PLUNGING ANTICLINE. THE CLAIMS LIE 2 ABREAST IN A NW-SE DIRECTION ASTRIDE AN EN ECHELON FAULT ZONE. MOST OF THE FAULTS HAVE A STRATIGRAPHIC THROW OF LESS THAN 50 FT. THE FLUORITE-BEARING JASPEROID OCCURS ALONG THE CONTACT OF THE NAKAYE AND OVERLYING BAR B FORMATIONS. THE JASPEROID IS CUT BY FRACTURES OBLIQUE TO THE FAULT ZONE THAT HAVE LOCALIZED THE FLUORITE. THE FLUORITE IS MOST ABUNDANT 3-5 FT BELOW TOP OF JASPEROID. THE DOWNDIP EXPOSURE OF JASPEROID HAS A WIDTH OF 60-200 FT WITH ABOUT 2000 FT STRIKE LENGTH. THE AVERAGE FLUORITE CONTENT IS 20% WITH LOCAL PODS OF 35% CAF2. FLUORITE OCCURS WITHIN AT LEAST 1 FISSURE VEIN (6-8 FT WIDE) IN A FAULT ZONE. FLUORITE IS GREEN AND CRYSTALLINE; VEIN IS 40-50% CAF2. 9 UNPATENTED CLAIMS COVERING ABOUT 180 ACRES.
