Deposit THE SURROUNDING GRANITE IS TRAVERSED BY SHEAR AND JOINT PLANES COATED WITH THIN CRUSTS OF MALACHITE AND CHRYSOCOLLA. THESE CRUSTS PROBABLY DERIVED FROM THE OXIDATION OF CHALCOPYRITE OR OTHER SULPHIDES THAT OCCUR IN THE METAMORPHOSED SEDIMENTS.
