Comments on the reserve resource information

  • THE DEPOSIT IS TOO LOW GRADE TO BE IN THE CATEGORY OF RESERVES, IT MAY BE CONSIDERED A SUBMARGINAL RESOURCE CONSISTING OF MANY MILLION TONS.

Comments on the workings information

  • 3 ADITS, N-S; N20E-TRENDING AND 50 FT. LONG, 725 FT. ADIT TRENDING S70E, AND 255 FT., N45E-TRENDING ADIT. THE ADITS ARE ON THE EAST SLOPES OF HARD TO BEAT CANYON. NUMEROUS PITS ARE IN SHEEPROCK CANYON, BUT NONE WERE SEEN DURING 1981 UGMS RECONNAISSANCE

Comments on development

  • BRUSH BERYLLIUM CO., UNDER DMEA CONTRACT IDM-E-514, CONDUCTED AN EXPLORATORY DIAMNOND DRILLING PROJECT IN 1953, THE AREA COVERED APPROX. 900 SQ. FT. AND INCLUDED NINE DRILL SITES.

Deposit BERYL IS IRREGULARLY DISSEMINATED IN A LEUCOCRATIC FACIES OF THE SHEEPROCK GRANITE EXPOSED OVER A THREE SQUARE MILE AREA. THE MOST FAVORABLY MINERALIZED ZONES HAVE BEEN PROSPECTED IN HARD TO BEAT AND SHEEPROCK CANYONS
