Deposit ON THE CREWS PROPERTY A SMALL BODY OF PEGMATITE CONTAINING CHIEFLY POTASH FELDSPAR AND SMALL BLACK-STAINED MICA WAS UNCOVERED. ON THE EVANS PROPERTY ONLY A LITTLE MICA AND SEVERAL CRYSTALS OF BERYL WERE FOUND. DIETRICH (1970) REPORTS COLUMBITE WAS ALSO FOUND AT THIS PROSPECT. THE CORE IS DISCONTINUOUS AND CONSISTS OF QUARTZ, THE INTERMEDIATE ZONE IS RICH IN PERTHITE, AND THE WALL ZONE IS RICH IN PLAGIOCLASE, WITH INTERSTITIAL QUARTZ AND MUSCOVITE.
