Deposit PYRITE OCCURS AS LARGE CLUSTERS OF FRESH CRYSTALS WITHIN A WHITE, GLASSY QUARTZ VEIN. THE ABOVE FIGURES REFER TO THE VEIN, THE THICKNESS IS AN AVERAGE. ASSOCIATED WITH THE PYRITE ARE SMALL STRINGERS OF HARD, GRAY HEMATITE.
Deposit EXAMINATION OF SEVERAL SMALL STREAMS DRAINING BLAKEY RIDGE SHOWED PYRITE IN ALLUVIUM SUGGESTING ADDITIONAL PYRITE ALONG TREND OF FAULT (ALLEN, 1963). ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
